Part 1 Of The Seblaine Battle
Tagging: Sebastian Smythe, Blaine Anderson
Locations: New Bark, A Beach
Time: Mid-afternoon
Other Notes: This is part one, we’re still in the process of completing it through Chatzy. This is just so anyone interested can see what’s going on.
Sebastian Smythe:
Sebastian pointed to where Dragonite should let him down. As he climbed off of his esteemed Pokemon he patted his snout and smiled. “Back we go,” he said and held out the Pokeball. Disappearing inside he clipped it back onto his belt and looked around at the people walking by. Some knew him, some didn’t, but he was more interested in finding Blaine.
Blaine:
Blaine stopped walking where he was when he heard that Sebastian was on his way. He wouldn’t want to move around and accidentally miss him. He decided while he waited that he may as well let some of the littler ones out to wonder around for a bit since they’d been cooped up in their pokeballs for a while now. He let Pichu and Togepi out to roam around while they waited. It wasn’t too hard to spot Sebastian though considering that he road in on a giant Dragonite, catching the attention of just about everyone in the area Blaine started to walk over to where Sebastian was, his two smaller pokemon trailing behind him. “Hey!” He called out with a small wave when Sebastian turned to look at him.
Sebastian:
Sebastian looked over to where he heard someone call out. Assuming it was him as he always did he turned to see Blaine. Well, he was short - that was for sure. Looking at the smaller male and walking up to him he gave him a smirk. “Hello, Blaine. I’m Sebastian - obviously. And these must be your baby Pokemon?” he smiled and looked down. “Aren’t you all just adorable?”
Blaine:
Blaine looked up at Sebastian. Literally. He was much taller than Blaine, who just so happened to be quite short. SO far, he could only tell that he and Sebastian were opposites from each other. He commented on his little pokemon, Blaine’s pichu ducking behind him and his Togepi ‘priii’ing happily at the acknowledgment. “They’re a lot more subtle than your giant dragonite I saw you fly in on.” Blaine told him with a small smile.
Sebastian:
“Yes, Dragonite is quite the crowd pleaser. He loves some spotlight now and then,” he laughed. His eyes still traveling over Blaine’s body and biting his lips, Sebastian thought he was incredibly attractive nonetheless. “Now would you like to meet my whole family or just Arcanine? Since we’ll be doing battle with the pup,” he asked smoothly.
Blaine:
Blaine figured Sebastian’s pokemon had taken on Sebastian’s confident personality, which he could already tell was strong but a lot to keep up with. “How about we battle first then you can show me the rest of your pokemon?” Blaine asked. He was eager to get this battle over with. Not because he didn’t want to battle Sebastian, he was just a bit worried. He knew that The Elite Four were strong and Blaine always worried when he was about to battle someone. The last thing he wanted was for his pokemon to get hurt.
Sebastian:
“Great, any specific area or here in front of everyone?” Sebastian asked quickly. Clipping Arcanine’s Pokeball off of his belt he threw it out and so spawned the large dog-like creature. Barking at Sebastian and running up to him, Sebastian let the Pokemon nuzzle him and he laughed. “Good boy, that’s Blaine. Say hi,” he smiled and Arcanine looked over and barked.
Blaine:
Blaine smiled at the large dog-like pokemon. “Oh, he’s very handsome.” Blaine commented from where he was standing. It was obvious that the pokemon enjoyed the attention of his trainer. “I’m not to familiar with the area so here’s fine.” He decided, reaching for one of his own pokeballs and pressing the button to release his bayleef, who was instantly excited at the prospect of being let out in the open and bayed at him happily. “Got a challenge for you, girl. Think you’re up for it?” He asked and instantly the prideful pokemon happily seemed to accept.
Sebastian:
Leaning into the dog like Pokemon he whispered into his ear. “Don’t be too hard on the grass type, okay?” he asked and the dog nodded to him. “Good boy.” Stepping back and making sure that Blaine was a safe distance away, Sebastian chuckled. As people standing around started to make a crowd Sebastian nodded. “I hope you’re ready, Blaine. Arcy, use fire spin to form a ring of fire around you two. Dodge whatever Bayleef might throw at you!” he commanded to the Pokemon. Intense fire spewing from it’s mouth as it aimed upwards, an expanding circle went in the air and fell around them as the flames reacted and grew in an organized manner.
Blaine:
Blaine stood up straight as Sebastian started their battle, the people around them joyously interested in their battle. Blaine watched as the rings of fire fell around the two pokemon, his bayleef obviously getting nervous at the engulfing heat around her. “Bayleef, use vine whip to grab onto Arcinine. Then try to get as close as possible.” He commanded at first, getting ready to use a body slam, watching as the first few times failed, the dog pokemon dodging the whips easily.
Sebastian:
“Arcanine, now use extreme speed mixed with bite,” he commanded. Watching as the larger beast sped at an extremely quick pace, he eyed the Bayleaf to see what it would do.
Blaine:
Blaine thought as quickly as he could. Bayleef looked shocked when the dog pokemon bit her, crying out. “Bayleef, now use vine whip to trap Arcanine.” Despite being bitten, Bayleef listened and the vines wrapped around the large dogs’s body, holding it tightly in place. “Now try a body slam.” He told trying to get the dog pokemon pinned, hoping his bayleef would catch onto what was coming next if she succeeded.
Sebastian:
Sebastian pursed his lips and glared at the situation before him. Watching as the vines wrapped around the dog he folded his arms and watched. Blaine certainly had good control of his Pokemon but Sebastian knew how to end this charade quickly and efficiently. He’d properly heal Bayleef after what he was going to do next. Letting the body slam connect, Sebastian grinned.
Blaine:
Blaine chanced a glance up at Sebastian, past the scene of the two battling pokemon he looked pretty calm and confident. Blaine wished it didn’t grate on his nerves the way it did. Once the bayleef had the arcanine pinned and distracted she pushed back and jumped up, a good distance away and quick enough for Blaine to command, “Bayleef, use razor leaf” He just hoped Sebastian didn’t have anything up his sleeve.
Sebastian:
While Blaine shouted his orders Sebastian did too. “Arcanine use Fire Blast and end it!” he yelled! As Arcanine’s body grew a fire like aura and his pupils went orange, the large maw opened and out spurred a 大 flame that grew extremely large and the flames were incredibly intense. “Now attack!” he yelled. As the fire went forwards to Bayleef to burn up everything in it’s way, Sebastian folded his arms.
Blaine:
Blaine’s eyes went wide as a strong blast of fire covered over Bayleef and the surrounding areas and Arcanine drew forward for it’s attack. In one move, bayleef was obviously done for the day. The prideful pokemon tried to gather it’s strength to stand again but fell back to the ground instantly. Blaine held up his hands. “Okay, okay, you won.” He said, moving forward quickly to his heavily breathing pokemon.
Sebastian:
He watched and walked over to Blaine. His Arcanine behind him he pat his head. “Good boy,” he smiled. Crouching down he looked at the Bayleef and bit his lip. “Do you need anything? I’ve got a few potions to help,” he smiled at Blaine actually quite sweetly. “Uh, can I ask you a question?”
Blaine:
Blaine looked up at Sebastian as he stood over the two of them, his bayleef reaching out to nip at Sebastian’s foot in irritation. She didn’t take loosing too well, even though it really wasn’t Sebastian’s fault at all. “I don’t think she likes you too much.” He said quietly but nodded at the offer for a potion. “Sure thing, shoot.” He said, preparing for some outlandish question of sorts.
Sebastian:
“Oh, well that sucks,” he chuckled. Pulling out one of his many expensive healing devices and handing Blaine the most potent spray instead of a potion. “Uh, would you like to maybe go to the lake and have our Pokemon hang out with us? That is if you’re willing to fly with me to one or the beach?” he grinned.
Blaine:
Blaine studied the spray for a moment. He couldn’t think of any reason for Sebastian to give him something that would make things worse rather than better so he took the chance and used it, hoping it’d make things better. He called back his bayleef, hoping she’d do better with healing in her pokeball than out in the open and thanked Sebastian gratefully. “The beach huh? Sure, I’m sure the pokemon would enjoy that a lot and I wouldn’t mind either. I’ve never flown on a pokemon before though…” He said warily.
Sebastian:
“Don’t worry, wanna take a ride on Dragonite? But be wary, he flies extremely fast,” he grinned. Returning Arcanine and calling out Dragonite, the large dragon stood there and goofily looked down at Blaine.
Blaine:
Blaine looked up at the large dragon his two littler pokemon that had been following behind Blaine cowered slightly. “This’ll be interesting, that’s for sure.” He called back his two pokemon into their pokeballs to keep them safe on the flight and followed Sebastian’s lead to the dragon.
Sebastian:
“Hop on,” he smiled. As Dragonite dipped his body down he crawled on and kept his grip around his neck tight but kept it comfortable. “Hold on though, he goes extremely fast,” he said quite proudly of his speed.
Blaine:
Blaine followed behind Sebastian onto the large dragonite. Blaine barely had time to adjust before they were lanuched upwards. Sebastian’s warning was right, his dragonite was incredibly fast. Blaine yelped, which he’d probably deny later, and reached forward to grip onto the closest thing, which just so happened to be Sebastian. Blaine would apologize later but right now he didn’t care about shamelessly clinging to the boy in front of him.
Sebastian:
As they flew, Dragonite would tease Blaine since it was his first ride. Dipping down and zooming through the trees in an agile and very precise manner, Sebastian laughed loudly. Feeling the arms at his waist, Sebastian smiled. Launching forward as they approached the ocean, Dragonite skimmed it’s claws along the water. Flying to the sand, Dragonite quickly landed and let them get off. “Well that was short, a little slow there Dragonite,” he teased and climbed off with Blaine.
Blaine:
Blaine opened his eyes in time to see dragonite grazing over the water. Blaine was very impressed with the pokemon’s skills in flight. He was glad though when they landed and Blaine could be firmly on the ground again, his legs a bit shaky after that. “That was amazing! Thanks for the ride.” he told Sebastian before turning to the large pokemon. “And thank you too.” He said up to the creature. “Where are we now anyways?” Blaine asked, curious with how far they’d actually come.
Sebastian:
“You know, I wish I could tell you but I truly do not know,” he said and looked around. Nothing was too familiar but it all struck a chord so he shrugged. “Either way, let’s enjoy it,” he smiled. Pulling out all of his Pokemon balls and throwing them as they spawned, his Steelix looked at him with his menacing eyes and laid down on the sand.
Blaine:
Blaine blinked up at Sebastian, unable to believe he really didn’t care about not knowing where he was. He shrugged though, figuring that he’d get to where he needed to be eventually. He too pulled out all of his pokeballs. He had four, two less than Sebastian’s six. He wondered briefly if his pokemon would get along with Sebastian’s before letting all of them out. His Marill sat happily on his tail, his pichu immediately started running around happily in the sand, his togepi was happy to wonder over with Sebastian’s pokemon, always the seemlingly fearless one, and bayleef was a bit worse for wear still, puffing out her cheeks at the sight of Sebastian.
